ALFRED WILLIAMS
Age 98, formerly of Cooper Farms, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Methodist Country House.
Al retired in 1972 after 43 years as a Vice President of Electrical Operations for Delmarva Power. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Roselle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Colehower Williams; and his second wife Dorothy Betts Williams. Al is survived by his children, Alfred Wayne Williams and his wife, Joan, of Moreno Valley, CA, and Alva Hemshrot and her husband, Gene, of Milford, DE; his grandchildren, Linda Aiken and her husband, Edward, Cheryl Lawson and her husband, Craig, Kevin Williams and his wife, Mary Ann, and Marc Williams and his wife, Lori; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11 am at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Methodist Country House Benevolent Fund, 4830 Kennett Pike, Greenville, DE 19807; or Christ U.M. Church, 6 N. Clifton Ave, Wilm., DE 19805.
