Franklin Henry

Toledo - Franklin B. Henry, 71, of 2048 Balkan Place, Toledo, former Bryan resident, died Friday in a suburban Chicago, Ill., hospital, after suffering an apparent heart attack. He became ill while visiting his son, James Henry, Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Born March 4, 1905 in Edon, the son of Howard T. and Gertrude (Brown) Henry, he had retired after serving 15 years as a salesman for Stellhorn Co. The deceased was a graduate of Bryan High School.

His memberships were with the Monroe St., United Methodist Church, in Toledo, Triad Lodge F&AM; Zenobia Shrine, and Mr. Henry was a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite.

Surviving in addition to the son, James Henry, are his wife, the former Rose Misko, of Toledo; a brother, Oscar Henry, Bryan; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Corrello, Maumee; and two grandchildren.

Services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wendesday from the Foth Mortuary, Sylvania Ave., Toledo, where calling hours are after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Preferred memorials are the Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital or the Shrine Burn Unit.
