Mabel C. Rogers
Pioneer - Services for Mabel C. Rogers, 83, formerly of 202 N. Elm St., Pioneer, are to be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Pioneer. The Rev. Jack D. Teeple of the Bridgewater Community Church is to officiate.
Mrs. Rogers died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1982, in Bryan Community Hospital.
Born Dec. 27, 1898, in Waldron, Mich., she was the daughter of Viola (Shamplo) and Frank Gilbert.
Her husband, Oakley Rogers, preceded her in death in November, 1972.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Loren (Zelda) Fackler of Toledo; a stepson, Darald Rogers of Pioneer; two sisters, Mrs. Nelson (Grace) Bollinger of Toledo and Mrs. Helen Greene of South Bend, Ind.; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest, in 1979.
Burial is to be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer. Visitation is scheduled for 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
