Walter Wayne (Casey) Casebolt
86, passed away on Oct. 27, 2012 in Mesa, AZ. He was born in Amity, MO on Oct. 22, 1926. He is survived by his loving wife Lola (Dale), and seven children from his and Lola's blended families. The children are Anita Cary, Sada Smith (and Donny), Ray Cary, Susan Kester (and Paul), Stephanie Crosby (and Stephen), Sherie Graham-Detton and Thomas Kasalko (and Sue). 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive him. Casey was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Myrl (McCartney) Casebolt. Also preceding him in death were his two children with Edna Cary (Colhour), Linda and Gary Casebolt, and one grandchild, Sean Smith. His brother Bill Casebolt and two sisters, Doris Swope and Shirley Coy also preceded him in death. Casey lived most of his life in WA State and retired after 30 years from Boeing Aerospace where he was an inspector. He loved sports and was a star basketball player at Amity H.S. In later years, he played softball in Seattle, WA and Mesa, AZ. His honesty and integrity will always be his legacy. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial gathering will be held at Hansen Chapel of Prayer Mortuary, 108 N 56th St., Mesa, AZ 85205 on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.hansenmortuary.com.
